Extended hours to help our Working patients

We are extending the times that there is a doctor available at Tahunanui Medical Centre, so that it is easier for those who work during the day to access a GP. We now have some earlier appointments (with Dr Sarah Richards on a Monday from 08:15), lunchtime appointments (with Dr Kirstie Harris on a Thursday) and late appointments available (with Dr Steve Cameron on a Thursday until 19:00)

These times outside of the usual 08:45 – 17:00 are aimed at benefiting people who work and find it difficult to see a GP due to their work commitments, the use and sustainability of this service will be reviewed over the coming months.
