Emergencies and urgent medical problems are always attended to as soon as possible and no matter how busy we are we will always find time to see the children enrolled with us

We strive to give our patients an appointment with their doctor of choice, however if a person wishes to be seen on the day they make an appointment this may not always be possible

We allow 15 minutes for a standard consultation, if people feel they will require extra time we appreciate knowing this at the time of booking to avoid others having to wait for their appointment.

There are fees for all of our services (a full price list is available at the practice) and we expect payment on the day that services are received. A late payment fee ($10) is added to all accounts which are not paid on the day, and there may be charges if people do not turn up for appointments without informing us. We try to be as fair as possible, and ask if people are having difficulty with payment that they discuss this with our Practice Manager as soon as possible to avoid any tension in our relationship. Our aim is to help.

We like our patients to access reliable health information and recommend the following sites:

For straight forward information about all sorts of medical conditions patient.co.uk or everybody.co.nz

For information particular to children’s heath kidsheath.org.nz

To find out which vaccines are currently recommended for people living in New Zealand see  immunisation or more about immunisation

For information regarding menopause we like the print outs and videos found on menopause.org.au

For information prior to travelling fitfortravel.nhs.uk or  centre for disease control (USA)
